We acquired our first miniatures back in 1997. A sweet little mare and stallion. The original intent was just to have them as pets. Well, they're kind of like potato chips, you can't have just one...or two....or three...... We were put in contact with Harold Lowrey. We didn't know much about the little horses so we called to get more information. Come to find out the mare we had purchased was a daughter of the famous Chocos Little Specks Red Boy and the Stallion was a son of Boones Little Andy. Weren't we surprised! Well the more we researched the more we liked them and eventually purchased a few bred mares from Harold. We were having WAY too much fun and at one time had 30+ head of AMHA/AMHR registered miniatures. We started doing a little showing back in 1998 and are now very successful in the show ring. My main and only stallion is GGs Laredo Lowrey HOF. We are now beginning to concentrate on breeding show quality horses that anyone can enjoy. I have retained only my best mares and the herd is down in numbers. I am breeding for quality Amha/ Amhr horses.
